Is HGH Spray an Effective Delivery Method?
The use of HGH spray as an anti-aging product has been touted for years. The basis for this belief was numerous university and private research studies using injections of Human Growth Hormone in children to increase their height. Athletes took note of the benefits (since many children also noticed an increase in muscle mass.) Some supplement companies came on board at this point and began their own studies. When the anti-aging side effects were noticed many more companies joined in.
The problem with studies funded by any one group is that the results can be skewed in their favor and any study can be manipulated to give the necessary results. The other major problem with all of these studies is that they looked at injectable HGH rather than the high potency HGH spray that is marketed today. Because injected HGH carries many side effects and is very expensive - a year's worth of human growth hormone costs between $10,000 and $20,000 - many people have put their hopes into an HGH spray.
HGH oral spray is the delivery method of choice for most people. It is a homeopathc blend, and the HGH molecule is delivered through a water-based system. High potency HGH spray is the product preferred by most proponents of this therapy. The pill form is usually cheaper but most of the active ingredient is broken down by stomach acid when ingested.
HGH sprays and pills are a controversial topic in the medical and research field. The main reason for the controversy is the fact that these supplements are not controlled by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA.) There is no regulation of what is in the products or how much of each component is required. Many of the HGH oral sprays do not contain any HGH at all or an inactive form.
Human Growth Hormone requires a prescription to buy or possess, therefore it cannot be sold in over the counter supplements. There are also no comprehensive, unbiased studies on the effectiveness of an HGH spray.
So, why do people use them then?
They buy into the hype that these are the next "fountain of youth." The success of HGH injections (minus the dangerous side effects; high blood pressure, fluid retention, carpal tunnel syndrome, joint pain, and possibly even a higher risk of diabetes) has peaked the interest in these products. People want the results without the pain and cost of injections. HGH oral spray manufacturers spend millions of dollars to convince the general public that their product can do just that.
Most of the studies have found that HGH use, whether through high potency HGH spray or other form, does not have any greater effect on the aging process, and many times less so, than a healthy diet and exercise program. If you add good quality vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, amino acids and other important nutrients, you may see results above and beyond the benefits of even HGH injections, and at much less cost.
Whether looking for the younger you or just more energy and vitality the money spent on an expensive high potency HGH spray would be better served purchasing a high quality comprehensive supplement (or supplements) containing the essential vitamins and minerals, along with antioxidants and amino acids that support the body's natural hormonal balance and metabolism. Save the HGH for the children needing a growth boost.
